Computer modelling enabled us to address the relationship of the proposal to its two neighbours, in heights and in setbacks, both at street level and above. Balconies are used to minimise solar gain in summer, whilst allowing it in winter, and having a single unit per floor allowed for good natural cross ventilation. Rainwater will harvested and used for clothes washing, irrigation and flushing toilets
